The gaumont Hotel *****
The building was built in 1925, rennovated in 2003. the Hotel boasts an a la carte resturaunt and sushi bar on the top floor which leads out to a roof terrace with spectacular views over the city. a gym is situated towards the top of the building. the hotel also has a large function/conference room leading onto a bar and lounge. the gaumont suite on the lower floor serves as a breakfast, carvery and continental dining area. the hotel is joined by means of a skybridge to the newly completed Gaumont Spa (2004) where guests can enjoy a range of relaxing and revitalising treatments. The hotel is situated by the side of Victoria Quay and Gaumont Place Boutiques. The hotel is one of the cities most famous deco hotels and has had such guests as the Duchess of York, Donald trump and Madonna.
